How do I book a tee time?
- Using the GOAT App
- Check Availability
- Start by visiting the LIVE tee sheet of the golf course where you want to play. This will show you the available tee times in real-time without leaving the app.
- Once you find a suitable tee time, all members in your group who want to book this tee time must first enter their booking in the app.
- Group Bookings: If you are booking for multiple players, ensure that each member’s details are correctly entered in the GOAT app before confirming with the Pro Shop. Otherwise, they will not take that booking!
- Check Availability
- Call Confirmation
- After updating the GOAT app, ONLY then call the Pro Shop to confirm your booking, the staff will verify your booking by cross-referencing the details you entered in the GOAT app.
- If for any reason your tee time is not available, then book an open tee time that works with the pro shop instead. The GOAT member will then update the GOAT App by canceling and rebooking at the correct time.
- App Requirement
- Remember, if your name isn’t listed in the GOAT app for that tee time, the Pro Shop cannot confirm your booking. You must book through the GOAT app first!
- Automatic Management: The GOAT app is designed to prevent double bookings or conflicts, so you can trust that your tee time is secure once booked.
What is the duration of the membership?
Memberships last from April 1st through December 31st within the same calendar year.
Returning GOATs who prepay for the following year by December 31st will be eligible to start playing on January 1st, marking the beginning of their membership. You never know with Chicago weather- some great rounds played in January, February, and March!
Is it truly unlimited?
We do not place any barriers on how often you can play. As long as a GOAT course is open that day, our members have the ability to play there.
We’re Chicago based, so weather restrictions cause the courses to close for some days of the year. We’re a shared tee time program, our booking app allows you to hold up to two tee times at any given time. When you complete your first round, the app will allow you to book another round. Theoretically, you could golf 36 holes everyday for 365 days. So, maybe our “unlimited” plan would cap out at 732 rounds in the year. You got us there.
How many tee times are available for members everyday?
GOAT members can access either 4 or 8 tee times each day, depending on the course. The availability of tee times is based on demand, with courses offering 4 times typically being newer or located in areas with fewer local members. If a tee time is available to the public, it is also available to our members. Occasionally, a course may have an outing or event that limits availability for that day. We encourage members to try out new GOAT courses and explore ones they haven’t played yet.
